Sheepskin Tanning class October 4-7

learn how to transform a sheepskin through completely natural traditional methods. 

Over the course of 3 full days, we will use the Fat/smoke method to tan your very own sheepskin. Using just a few tools, emulsified fat, smoke, and your hands! The skills you will learn in this class are applicable to many other animal hides, and give you insight on the basics of other tanning methods. All experience levels welcome.

Camping will be available on the land as well as a simple dinner each evening.

We will be in our very own hide camp outside of Addy Washington, close to the Columbia river.  Please plan to arrive Friday evening and leave Tuesday afternoon/ evening. More class details will be emailed to you. { Participant numbers are limited. }

Total cost for the workshop is $475

This is a non-refundable deposit of $325 that is taken off the total price of the workshop. The final payment must be made two weeks before the class begins.
